It’s obviously early with a lot yet to be determined, but have a look at some of Boise State’s targets for the 2024 class, with most already receiving an offer. If we are talking on the 4*s, it will be tough to get those type of commitments, but it’s typically worth noting.
Jason Brown 5-10 195 RB O’Dea, WA.
Brown is ranked the #2 RB in the nation with everyone looking to obtain his services. He could have a future similar to current NFL athletes, former UW standouts, Salvon Ahmed and Myles Gaskin.
Taylor Tatum 5-11 200 RB Longview, TX
One of the top ranked players in the nation. The 4* back has had an unreal senior year, leading his team to 10-0 record thus far, while averaging 124 yards per game (9.2 ypc) with 20 TDs on the season.
Gatlin Blair 6-3 185 WR Burley, ID
What will be one of the best players ever to play ball in Idaho. On the year the 4* WR has 73 catches for 1,073 yards and 18 TDs. With the Likes of Michigan, Notre Dame, USC, and Oregon offering it will be a tough get for Boise St.
Jack Ressler 5-11 195 WR Mater Dei, CA.
Ressler deserves a lot of credit, landing double digit D1 offers already. He has some of that “It” factor while playing for the nation’s #1 ranked HS. Over the last two seasons he has 67 catches for 752 yards and 6 TDs.
Logan Saldate 6-0 185 WR (Palma HS) Salinas, CA.
The 3* WR has a stock which is rising quickly as he would be an ideal fit in Boise State’s system. On the year he has 54 catches for 743 yards and 12 Total TDs. The 3* (10.9 100 Meter) athlete has already been offered by Washington, Washington St, Oregon St, and Cal.
Sire Gaines 6-1 200 ATH (Orange Vista HS) Perris, CA.
Gaines had a phenomenal junior season, going for 1,656 rushing & receiving yards and 25 total TDs. The 3* ATH has been offered by the likes of Washington and Arizona, with numerous schools projected to get in the mix in the coming months. It’s early but the 3* athlete would do well in Idaho.
Bennett Anderson 6-5 255 OL (Bellarmine Prep HS) San Jose, CA.
Anderson projects on Offense but has impressed on D, showing off his overall athleticism. Over the last three years he has made 51 total tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss, with 2 sacks.
Jaylon Edmond 5-10 150 WR (Bishop Gorman HS) Las Vegas, NV.
The 3* talent had a few other mid majors come in already and offer. Edmond impresses with his versatility, doing a little bit of everything, including return kicks. Playing for one of the nation’s top HS’s the ball is spread around, as he has 15 touches for 376 total yards and 2 TDs in 11 career games.
Jacob Emmers 6-0 180 WR Anna, TX.
Look for Emmers recruitment to pick up substantially in the coming months, with the junior absolutely going off, and leading his team to a (10-0) record and the district title. On the season he has 76 touches (51 receptions, 25 carries) for 1263 total yards and 17 TDs. 4* teammate Jambres Dubar is Boise State’s highest ranked recruit for 2023. This would be another nice get out of Anna, Texas.
Tyjai Hopper 6-1 175 CB Alpharetta, GA.
The 6-1 180-pound defensive specialist is a physical athlete with speed and someone who could play early. Hopper has 33 total tackles, with 5 PBUs, and 1 INT, over the last two seasons. This is a good early offer from Boise St, with Colorado, Purdue, and Missouri all offering as well. It doesn’t hurt having his brother, current Boise St TE Tyneil Hopper on the roster. He has 20 career catches.
